Serials Holdings Project staff reach milestone
In July Jim Leblanc announced that we had completed the last of the serials currently received for which we needed to set holdings in OCLC. July also marked our being halfway through the project, having set holdings for over 22,000 of the 42,000 serial records rejected in the OCLC Reclamation Project in winter 2006.
To acknowledge contributions to the initiative, Jim arranged a break / discussion session on July 30 where staff working on the project celebrated and discussed their accomplishments.
We are still aiming to complete the project, meaning having all our serial holdings set in OCLC, by April 30, 2009.
