Olin barcoding complete

Last phase of Olin Library barcoding is completed by LTS staff

LTS has completed the last phase of retrospective barcoding in Olin Library -- namely, the Olin print serials. This means that all print material in Olin Library has now been barcoded. The three-year project to address this final phase of Olin barcoding began in June 2005 and included some 58,000 serial titles and more than 400,000 individual volumes.

David Banush leaves LTS

David Banush announces his departure from CULDavid Banush, head of Cataloging Services in LTS since 2002, announced his departure from CUL in December 2008. In February 2009, David will join Brown University Library as Associate University Librarian for Access Services. In that capacity, he?ll have administrative oversight for acquisitions, cataloging, interlibrary services, preservation, and stacks management, including the management of Brown?s library annex.

William Joseph Thomas, Electronic Resources Librarian in the E-Resources & Management Unit, left LTS on October 16 to return to East Carolina University where he will be head of Collection Development for Joyner Library. We wish Joseph much success in his new position.
