Last phase of Olin Library barcoding is completed by LTS staff

LTS has completed the last phase of retrospective barcoding in Olin Library -- namely, the Olin print serials. This means that all print material in Olin Library has now been barcoded. The three-year project to address this final phase of Olin barcoding began in June 2005 and included some 58,000 serial titles and more than 400,000 individual volumes.

The principal players in this project were: Sally Lockwood (LTS), John Marmora (OKU Collection Maintenance), Lydia Pettis (DLIT), Barb Tarbox (LTS), Ken Tiddick (LTS), and Wei Tseng (LTS). Jim LeBlanc is particularly appreciative of Sally's work. She coordinated the day-to-day aspects of this project from beginning to end and supervised the small army of students required to accomplish the work.
