Working Group on Cataloging The WGC, which serves in an advisory capacity to TSEG, is a monthly forum for interested staff who wish to discuss cataloging issues of current interest, both local and national. At its May 2004 meeting, the Technical Services Executive Group (TSEG) affirmed the importance of the WGC as a forum for information sharing and dissemination (e.g., about ALA), for interaction with colleagues, and for preparing Cornell responses to national and international standards and rule changes. It was suggested that the group meet every other month rather than monthly. TSEG broadened the WGC's scope to occasionally include acquisitions and other technical services topics, as appropriate. A new charge (attached) was developed to document these minor revisions to the WGC's purpose.
