Present: Lois Peret Purcell, Deb Warfield, Jim Spear, Margaret Nichols, Jim Alberts (chair, recorder).

Karen has expressed interest in having TSEG review the Recommendations document. Jim requested that any further changes or new recommendations be proposed and discussed soon so that they can be incorporated into a final version. We don’t know yet when TSEG will review the document. One appendix remains to be added: documentation of the web site review of other Ivy League and comparable library TS procedures sites.

Because of new agenda items, we agreed to postpone the discussion of other library TS sites scheduled for this week until Oct. 28.

Members expressed concern that we were moving forward too quickly with the plan to incorporate Voyager Manual procedures into the procedures. The group generally agreed that more work remained to be done to the current CTS procedures before the Voyager procedures could be usefully incorporated.

We agreed to complete adding front matter to our procedures (based on the earlier division of copy-editing procedures). This will be largely completed by the 27^th.

^{In preparation for working on the Voyager procedures, Jim S. presented documents showing the division between "procedures" and "tools/tables" in the Voyager manual, and a document interfiling Voyager procedures into the existing CTS procedure functional view. Jim A. will use this to update the current CTS procedures by adding links to the Voyager procedures into the functional view. This way, URLs to Voyager procedures within the current CTS procedures will not have to be changed immediately, but we can advance the interfiling of the Voyager and CTS procedures by an intermediate step.}
