Integrated Tool for Selection and Ordering (ITSO)
OCLC is developing a new selection service in partnership with Cornell University Library.
The new WorldCat Selection Service will be available from OCLC in the second half of 2006. It is based on the Integrated Tool for Selection and Ordering at Cornell University Library (ITSO CUL).
The service will allow selectors at your library to view records from multiple materials vendors in one central comprehensive system. You will be able to get WorldCat records for newly purchased materials into your integrated library system earlier in the technical services process. Also, your library's holding symbol will be automatically set on the WorldCat records for the materials.
