Batchmatch Extract (Formerly MARCadia) This document summarizes the specifications and schedule for the regular extract of our in-process, class-on-receipt (COR), and CIP-level BIB records for export to OCLC. The Batchmatch service at OCLC searches the records against the OCLC database and returns upgraded catalog records for reloading into Voyager. A. B. Pre-Processing of Extracted RecordsVoyager location codes are mapped from the 852 $b fields of all associated MFHDs to BIB 950 $l fields.C. Exporting the RecordsRecords are exported monthly as a CTSBULK job. The extracts are run on or about the second Wednesday of the month, targeting records that are 18 months and 3 months old. In late 2003, we added an additional supplemental extract to target 12-month old COR records only. In late 2004, a second supplemental extract to target 24-month old COR records was added. | |
